Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef / Head Chef — Little Guildford & Little Vines

About the Role

Little Guildford & Little Vines are busy, fast-paced cafés known for a fresh, ever-changing menu and a tight-knit, hands-on kitchen team. We're looking for an experienced chef to join us — the title is flexible (Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or Head Chef) depending on your experience.

Day-to-day service runs 7 days a week, 7:30am to 2:00pm, covering brunch and lunch. Over spring and summer we also run Friday and Saturday night service, so there's genuine variety across mornings and evenings.

What You'll Be Doing

- Running service across our 7-day breakfast/brunch/lunch trade (7:30am–2:00pm)

- Leading Friday and Saturday night dinner service through spring and summer

- Working closely within a small, close-knit kitchen team

- Maintaining food safety, stock control, and kitchen standards day to day





What We're Looking For

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or Head Chef in a busy café or restaurant kitchen

- Comfortable leading high-volume morning service as well as evening service

- Genuine interest in fresh, seasonal cooking

- Reliable, calm under pressure, solid communicator with a small team

- Flexible availability across the week, including some Friday/Saturday nights in spring and summer

Hours & Pay

- 20–40 hours per week — open to part-time or casual

- Core hours: 7 days, 7:30am–2:00pm

- Plus Friday & Saturday nights, spring and summer only

- Pay in line with experience and award — happy to discuss on application
