The Role & Project

Interquip are a part of Thiess Company Group and is an engineering and construction business providing services to the mining and mineral processing sector, with over twenty-five years’ of industry experience. Interquip is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specialising in the design and construction of mineral processing facilities for clients across Australia.

Interquip is currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor for our new project in WA to commence 8:6 roster ASAP. In this role you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the success of our construction mining project. You will possess a minimum of 2-3 years in field experience and at least a Cert IV WHS Certificate & Cert IV Training & Assessment plus have demonstrated the ability to achieve results within a construction mining environment. Only FIFO from Perth, WA will be considered.

This project is an EPC brand new Greenfields project with a new camp, plus gym, and working 12 hour days.

Role responsibilities:

- Conduct regular workplace inspections

- Conduct/Sign Off VOC's onsite

- Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Workplace matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team

- Coordinate site based occupational health, safety,



and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials

- Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with

- Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actions

- Ensure accurate information is entered into the electronic Safety Management System (INX/Safety Culture/LAAMP) in a timely manner

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or similar

- Cert IV in Training and Assessment

- ICAM

- Relevant mining and construction experience minimum of 2-3 years

- Sound knowledge of the applicable State work health and safety act and regulations

- Australian “C” class drivers licence

- OHS Construction Induction - White Card (of equivalent)

- First Aid within 3 years

- Drug and Alcohol Testing Certificate

- Clear National Police Clearance within 6 months

- Ability to complete Pre-employment Medical & DAS asap

Overview:

- 12 hour shifts

- 8:6 Roster (8 Days on | 6 Days off)

- FIFO Perth (Mondays)

- Preferred start date: 24 August 2026

- Project completion expected June 2027

- Superannuation paid on all our hours worked
