At Happy Dots Therapy Services for Children , we’re looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Cardiff.

About Happy Dots

For over a decade, Happy Dots has been supporting children and families across Newcastle and the Hunter through high-quality paediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology.

We work with children and young people aged 0–18 across our clinic, schools and community settings, delivering evidence-based therapy that is practical, engaging and centred around the child and their family.

Our Cardiff clinic has been designed specifically for children, with beautiful therapy spaces, sensory gyms and plenty of resources to make therapy engaging and fun.

About the Role

You’ll work with a diverse paediatric caseload and have the autonomy to use your clinical reasoning, creativity and experience to deliver therapy that makes a meaningful difference.

Your role will include:

- Conducting comprehensive speech, language and communication assessments across a range of developmental and neurodivergent presentations.

- Developing and delivering individualised, evidence-based and family-centred intervention.

- Working collaboratively with families,



educators and other allied health professionals.

- Providing parent and caregiver coaching to support strategies beyond the therapy room.

- Completing explicit, timely clinical documentation and reports in line with professional and NDIS requirements.

- Participating in supervision, case discussions and multidisciplinary collaboration.

- Contributing your ideas and experience to the continued development of our Speech Pathology service.

- Opportunities to mentor and support developing clinicians, depending on your experience and career goals.

About You

You’ll be a great fit for Happy Dots if you:

- Hold a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.

- Are eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia .

- Ideally have 2+ years of paediatric clinical experience .

- Enjoy working with children with varied communication needs and developmental presentations.

- Have strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.

- Are confident managing a varied paediatric caseload.

- Value collaboration with families, educators and other professionals.

- Bring warmth, initiative and a genuine passion for supporting children.

- Hold, or are willing to obtain, a current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check and First Aid certification.
