FORKLIFT OPERATOR - STEEL FABRICATION
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join a busy steel fabrication company for an immediate start .
This role is initially for around one month , with the potential to lead to ongoing work for the right person.
Location: Mitchell & Queanbeyan
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a forklift to load and unload steel products
- Moving and organising steel materials safely
- Loading trucks and preparing materials for delivery
- Assisting with general yard and warehouse duties
- Ensuring safe handling and storage of materials
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Experience handling steel or construction materials is an advantage
- Robust work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy environment
