About the role

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Assemble and wire complex control panels, machine assemblies, safety circuits, drives, sensors and industrial control systems for custom automation equipment.

- Use of hand tools for wire crimping and cable assembly

- Organise component layout for panel installation





- Deliver tasks to the production schedule

- Undertake fault finding to component level

- Liaise with team leads / supervisors regarding job scheduling, product design, manufacturing procedures, job costing, and other similar tasks.

About you:

- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

- Experience with cable assembly, control panel wiring, and electrical component installation.

- Competent in the use of hand and power tools.

- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Good computer literacy and documentation skills.

- Strong awareness of workplace safety and safe work practices.

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Electrical Fitting or Electrical diploma or equivalent- essential

- EA103A- Operation (Electrical) legislative Requirements

- WAE100 or EA106 Electrical Requirements

- Electrical License- desirable

- WA Driver’s License

Desirable

- Experience wiring PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.

- Experience with AC/DC wiring and drive wiring.

- Previous experience in switchboard assembly, machinery manufacturing, or industrial automation.

- Understanding of IPC-620 standards.

- Forklift Licence.

- Electrical Licence.
