Cook / Chef Wanted – The Beaches Hotel/ Ryans Hotel, Thirroul

Two pubs in Thirroul with three great dining experiences, a classic pub menu, a modern pub/mexican menu and a bustling Italian wine bar and trattoria. We’re looking for an experienced Cook or Chef to join our team and help deliver excellent food to our locals and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and specifications
- Ensure dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner
- Monitor food stock levels and notify management when supplies are low
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen setting
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy and speed of service
- Monitor quality and consistency of dishes leaving the kitchen




- Work closely with Managers on food preparation and operational issues
- Enforce hygiene regulations and kitchen standards

Requirements

- Proven experience as a restaurant Cook or Chef
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and Australian food safety regulations
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen under pressure
- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
