The Opportunity

The Shire of Murray is seeking a part-time Fleet Officer to join the Operations team.

The Fleet Officer will be responsible for providing guidance, oversight and specialist advice of day-to-day operations of Councils Light Fleet management services while providing additional administration and procurement services.,

The position on offer is a part time role, working 46 hours per fortnight. An EBA Level 5 salary between $80,883.51 and $85,107.47 per annum (pro-rata), based upon skills, knowledge and experience.

We want to hear from you if you have:

- Strong consultation skills with the ability to work across teams and levels, understand operational needs and influence decisions.
- General understanding of required standards that align with procurement specifically around fleet management.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders to manage procurement and contracts.
- Experience managing fleet across entire lifecycle with sound knowledge of licensing and vehicle standards and oversight of Fleet Operations and contract management.
- Relevant Qualification or experience in procurement and fleet management services.
