We have several roles available and are seeking both experienced male and female Disability Support Workers to meet the individual care needs and preferences of our participants, we currently have a high demand for male workers in certain roles.

We are also looking for candidates who are able to offer active overnight & sleepover availability and who have experience with safe hoisting and manual-handling practices, as these skills are valuable for supporting our participants with higher care needs. About the role

Care requirements consist of:

- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)

- Challenging Behaviours

- Manual handling, hoisting and personal care requirements

- Complex care needs requiring a high level of skill and attention

- Medication assistance

- Psychosocial, emotional, and social support

- Deliver support in line with a participant’s NDIS plan goals

- Community access and lifestyle activities (including hobbies such as fishing, cars, arts and crafts, painting, exercising, gardening, and photography)

What we are looking for

- Experience with manual handling , hoisting and personal care

- Background in complex care , challenging behaviours , and psychosocial support

- Experience providing medication assistance

- Physically fit and able to meet the role’s demands

- Active overnights & Sleepover availability

- Flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and evenings

- Solid communication skills and a genuine commitment to person-centred care

- Ability to connect with participants through shared interests such as fishing, arts, exercise, gardening and more.

Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening ID

- First Aid & CPR Certificate

- Blue Card

- Drivers Licence

- Proof of Working Rights in Australia

- Comprehensive Car Insurance

- Relevant qualification (Cert III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar) – desirable
