New Movement is one of Perth's fastest-growing fitness and wellness businesses. With a 24/7 gym, group fitness, reformer and mat Pilates, recovery facilities, crèche and a second location opening soon, we're looking for an experienced leader to help drive the next stage of our growth.
We are seeking a Sales and Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service department, membership sales and member retention strategies while delivering an exceptional experience for our members.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, you will be responsible for leading the customer service team, driving membership growth, improving member retention and ensuring exceptional service standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Customer Service Department.
- Develop and implement membership sales strategies.
- Drive member retention and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance and analyse KPIs.
- Recruit, train and mentor customer service staff.
- Manage team performance and operational procedures.
- Handle escalated customer enquiries and complaints.
- Prepare sales and performance reports for management.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to support campaigns and business growth.
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous business improvement.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales and customer service management.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience leading and managing a customer service or sales team.
- Demonstrated experience achieving sales targets and managing KPIs.
- Robust leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Experience developing customer retention and service improvement strategies.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Experience within the fitness, health, hospitality or wellness industry.
- Qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management or a related field.
Salary
$85,000 per annum + superannuation
