Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Estimator to join our team.
About the Role
This is a senior position responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates across a diverse range of projects. You'll work closely with management, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure profitable work while maintaining our high standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Conduct site inspections when required
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities
- Liaise with clients during the tender process
- Assist with project handovers to operations
- Contribute to business development and identifying new opportunities
About You
- Minimum 5 years experience estimating plumbing projects
- Robust knowledge of mining, industrial, commercial and domestic plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Australian plumbing trade qualification (preferred)
