Aged Care Worker wanted to assist gentle, elderly Lady with evening meal times and sleeping preparation from mid afternoon to early evenings.

The hourly remuneration is generous and your efforts would be highly valued and appreciated.

Initially, the successful applicant is required Monday to Friday for the period of 31/7/26 to 29/9/26 from 3.30pm to 7.30 pm. With the prospect to extend to 1 or 2 nights a week, on an ongoing basis, thereafter.

A

is sought to provide assistance to the gentle, resident who resides in a beautiful aged care facility in Cottesloe.

A Slav speaker would be highly regarded, although not necessary.

Skill in dealing with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s specific, would be especially welcomed. If you are a retired Aged Care Worker, consider applying.

Duties:

- General help, guidance and assistance;

- Companionship and help during meal times with cutting up food etc;

- Preparation for bed with toileting assistance, showering, teeth brushing and dressing for bed;





- Companionship prior to actual bed time with some games/puzzles (we provide) etc to occupy time and stimulate;

- Personal grooming assistance with moisturising face, trimming nails etc;

- Some light exercise with walks around the premises when weather permits, cups of tea/hot chocolate to be enjoyed and provided in the ground floor foyer, social connection;

- The successful applicant will recognise that providing quality support and assistance to someone in need can be both satisfying and enjoyable and have a huge impact on this beautiful, gentle Lady’s life, as she navigates her day to day life in a dementia specific ward.

Preferred requirements:

- Certificate 111 in Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent

- Current Police Check

- Strong communication skills

- Empathatic nature
