As demand grows, we’re looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our supportive and collaborative team.

About the Role
In this role, you’ll support NDIS participants across the lifespan in the Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Gladstone regions .
You’ll deliver evidence-based behaviour support while working closely with participants, families and other key stakeholders.
This role involves regular local travel between participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver behaviour support services to NDIS participants
- Develop high‑quality Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Provide guidance regarding regulated restrictive practices
- Gather and analyse behavioural data to inform interventions
- Build strong relationships with participants and support networks
- Prepare reports aligned with NDIS and legislative requirements
What You Bring
- Experience as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (deemed suitable by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission) is preferred. However, applicants with relevant experience who are willing to apply for entry-level suitability with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of working with people with a disability and their networks to achieve positive quality of life outcomes
- An understanding of NDIS behaviour support requirements
- Excellent communication and report‑writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Commitment to ethical, person‑centred practice
- Current driver’s licence
- WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or eligibility to obtain)
