We are looking for staff in the Shellharbour to Kiama areas, especially with flexible availability.

The role is perfect for entry-level or qualified , with personal experience and transferrable skills also considered.

You will work with Aged Care and NDIS customers with various needs, ranging from social and domestic assistance to high care.

For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance

- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments

- Domestic assistance : light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

- Manual Handling :



Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment

- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs

- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

- Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:

- Caring, compassionate & friendly

- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

- Reliable, can commit to at least 3 days a week

- Ability to build rapport & valuable working relationships

- Must be comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

- Ability to travel between shifts, and transport customer as needed

What you will need:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to gain)

- Current First Aid certificate and CPR

- Current Australian Drivers License

- Reliable, registered, and comprehensive insured vehicle

- Smart phone with internet access

- Current Working with Children Check (desired)

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (desired)
