About the business and the role

Scarcella Transport have been operating express road train services into Darwin for the past 25 years. Our depot is based in Palmerston NT and our Sydney depot is based at Campbelltown NSW.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be part of a 2up express driving team, leaving Darwin Friday afternoons into Dubbo on Sunday then back to Darwin. Trailers will either be loaded for you or you will be required to travel to one of our customers and load produce (depending on the season)

You will be required to drop 1 trailer at Bourke and the other 2 trailers at Dubbo.

Returning from Dubbo, there will be 2 trailers ready at the Dubbo yard, you will then travel to Bourke and collect the 3rd trailer.

Once in Darwin, you will be required to either drop the trailers at our depot or to the various customers around Darwin (NO UNLOADING).

Skills and experience

MC drivers license and familiar with a road ranger g/box.

BFM advantageous but not essential

All prime movers are late model T909 Kenworth's with 50inch sleepers, 240 inverters, microwave, double bunks. Excellent remuneration where you are paid for everything you do.
