The Australian Clay Target Association Ltd (ACTA), the national governing body for clay target shooting in Australia, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Finance & Administration Officer to join its Head Office team in Wagga Wagga.
This varied position combines bookkeeping, general administration and executive support to the Executive Officer and Chairman.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Completing bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintaining financial records using Xero and/or MYOB
- Assisting with budgets and audit documentation
- Coordinating correspondence, meetings and schedules
- * Assist in preparing Board papers, agendas and minutes
- Supporting ACTA committees, programs and operational activities
- Liaising with clubs,
state associations and external providers
Applicants should have proven bookkeeping or finance experience, proficiency in Xero and/or MYOB, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a small team.
Experience supporting executives or Boards, or working within a sporting or not-for-profit organisation, would be advantageous.
