PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Full-time, three (3) year fixed term contract - based at Mannum

About the role

Reporting to the Director Corporate & Financial Services, the Procurement Officer’s key focus areas are to:

- Oversee and coordinate procurement services for Council assets and supplies.

- Advise staff on procurement and contract administration.

- Tender preparation, assisting in assessment and contract management.

- Undertake analysis of procurement issues and deliver innovative solutions.

- Coordinate educational sessions and manage supplier contracts.

- Maintain Council’s insurance portfolio details for property, assets, plant and vehicles.
