Tyre Fitters – Bowen Basin | Ongoing Opportunities

Downunder Group Solutions (DGS) is seeking experienced OTR Mining Tyre Fitters for multiple open-cut mining operations throughout the Bowen Basin.

The Role:

Working on heavy mobile mining equipment, you’ll be responsible for:

- Removing, fitting and repairing large earthmoving tyres and rims
- Conducting tyre inspections, pressure checks and preventative maintenance
- Operating safely within site procedures and company safety standards
- Working closely with maintenance teams to maximise equipment availability




- Completing required maintenance documentation and inspections

About You:

To be successful, you will have:

- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR21920)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience fitting earthmoving tyres in a mining workplace
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
- BMA Core (highly regarded)
- Experience operating tyre handlers and/or forklifts (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship

Please note: This position is suited to experienced mining OTR Tyre Fitters only. Applicants with passenger or truck tyre fitting experience only will not be considered.
