Workshop Supervisor
Location: Maddington
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM start, 10-hour days (50-hour weeks)
Pay Rate: Up to $70/hr
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Supervisor to lead our workshop team, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with extensive experience in underground earthmoving machinery repairs and rebuilds.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to ensure the efficient completion of workshop tasks.
- Oversee repairs and rebuilds of heavy earthmoving equipment, including Caterpillar, Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet, and Volvo machinery.
- Maintain high-quality standards and ensure all work meets company and client expectations.
- Foster a strong team environment, developing effective relationships among team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Provide technical guidance and support to workshop employees.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure operational effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant nationally recognized trade qualification.
- Experience specializing in underground earthmoving machinery repairs and rebuilds.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Cert III in Heavy Diesel or Drill Fitting is essential.
- MUST have underground experience.
