Salary: $333,305 - $432,658 p.a. pro rata + super & allowances

About the Role

Join a major metropolitan health service as a Consultant Gastroenterologist. Provide specialist gastroenterology care within a multidisciplinary team, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, inpatient and outpatient services across multiple sites. You will also contribute to clinical leadership, education, supervision, and patient safety initiatives. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver specialist gastroenterology services and patient care.
- Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
- Participate in outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary care.
- Support quality improvement and clinical governance.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and healthcare professionals.

Essential Criteria

- Eligible for medical registration in Australia.
- Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification in Gastroenterology.
- Experience in specialist gastroenterology practice.
- Strong clinical, communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork.
