About the role
JSC Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Civil Construction to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee complex civil construction projects from conception through to successful completion. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholders whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout all project phases. This position is critical to our operations, directly contributing to the delivery of outstanding infrastructure outcomes and the continued growth and reputation of JSC Pty Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage civil construction projects from start to finish

- Oversee project planning, programming and delivery activities

- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting and commercial outcomes

- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company systems and client requirements

- Lead project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives

- Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

- Manage procurement strategies and subcontractor performance

- Ensure project quality standards, audits and compliance requirements are achieved

- Prepare and present project reporting, including monthly project reports

- Identify and support current business opportunities through existing and emerging client relationships

- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example across all project activities

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5-7 years' experience in civil construction project management

2. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

3. Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, processes and industry best practices

4. Excellent understanding of health,



safety and environmental legislation and compliance requirements

5. Advanced proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors and authorities

7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams

8. Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

9. Tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

10. Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

11. Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management qualifications are highly desirable
