Position Summary

The Junior Warehouse Coordinator supports the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse by assisting with goods receipting, inventory management, warehouse organisation, freight coordination and dispatch activities.



This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse operations with administrative support to ensure materials and products are received, stored and delivered safely and efficiently.

Working as part of the Operations team, the role contributes to maintaining a safe, organised and productive warehouse while supporting continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

- Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods.

- Assist with loading, unloading and general material handling.

- Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness and housekeeping.

- Support production and operational activities as required.

Inventory & Logistics

- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete system transactions.

- Assist with stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy.

- Coordinate freight bookings and shipping documentation.

- Work with internal teams and transport providers to support timely deliveries.

Safety & Quality

- Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow company procedures.

- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.

- Support quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment

- Current forklift licences (LO & LF) with practical operating experience.

- Experience with picking, packing, dispatch and goods receipting processes.

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and assembly tasks.

Desirable

- Experience with inventory or ERP systems.

- Experience in freight, logistics or warehouse coordination.

- Additional licences or relevant industry experience.

Experience within manufacturing, industrial, mining or Defence environments will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
