About the Role:

Join a dynamic and highly specialised mental health service making a meaningful difference across Canberra.

As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), you will have the opportunity to influence and strengthen nursing excellence within a therapeutic and secure mental health environment. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing and working in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will lead and deliver innovative educational programs both within and external to the Division. Your work will support ongoing clinical education, preceptorship, mandatory skills assessments, and competency assessment processes for nurses working within the forensic mental health inpatient units.

This is an exciting prospect to develop and inspire the nursing workforce while contributing to high-quality, person-centred care. In addition to leading education initiatives, you will undertake professional development and supervision, participate in quality improvement activities, and play an integral role in multidisciplinary team processes.



Your expertise and leadership will help foster a culture of continuous learning, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes for consumers and staff alike.
