Nepean Hospital is seeking motivated and patient‑focused Registered Nurses with an interest in Anaesthetics to join our dynamic Perioperative Services team.

This is an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, tertiary teaching hospital supporting complex surgical services while developing specialist anaesthetic Nursing skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

As a Registered Nurse in Anaesthetics, you will provide high‑quality,



evidence‑based Nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. You will work closely with Anaesthetists and the wider Peri-operative team to ensure safe, efficient and patient‑centred care across a range of specialties. This is a role where you will deliver high‑quality patient assessment, care and documentation, participate in quality improvement, education and professional development activities and contribute positively to a supportive and respectful team culture.

What you will bring to the role:

1. Current registration as Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Minimum 12 months Postgraduate with experience in Anaesthetic nursing across multiple specialities.
3. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work in a challenging environment.
4. Demonstrates an understanding of risk management, Work Health and safety, infection control and Continuous Quality Improvement concepts.
5. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and NSW Health Core Values
