About the RoleBabylon Data is seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant security capability uplift for one of our government partners.This role is responsible for managing complex security projects focused on Emanation Security, organisational change, stakeholder engagement, governance and project delivery. You will work closely with technical specialists, senior stakeholders and industry partners to deliver secure outcomes while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget and aligned to organisational priorities.This is a highly secure environment requiring an individual who can confidently manage both technical and business stakeholders while leading change across multiple workstreams.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and delivery of medium-scale security projects from initiation through to completion.Manage Emanation Security policy, technology and capability uplift activities.Develop and implement organisational change management strategies and plans.Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources, risks and reporting.Manage project governance, change control processes and project documentation.Define project scope,



requirements and delivery priorities.Establish and maintain requirements baselines with full traceability.Develop financial forecasts and contribute to project budgeting activities.Build robust relationships with internal stakeholders, sponsors and industry partners.Facilitate workshops, meetings and decision-making forums.Develop and review policy, guidance, communications and training material.Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required.Ensure project outcomes are delivered within agreed quality, time and cost constraints.
Essential CriteriaApplicants should demonstrate experience in:Leading organisational change programs within complex ICT or security environments.Delivering medium to large government or Defence projects using recognised project management methodologies.Managing project scope, requirements, risks, issues, schedules and budgets.Stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication.Requirements definition, prioritisation and traceability.Project governance, reporting and change control.Developing training, policy and change management documentation.Working in highly secure environments requiring strict governance and compliance.
Highly DesirableExperience delivering Defence or National Security projects.Experience supporting Emanation Security or related physical/security capability programs.Strong understanding of project financial management and budgeting.Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams.Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent.Change Management qualifications such as Prosci or equivalent.
Mandatory RequirementsApplicants must:Hold a current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance.Be eligible to successfully complete an Organisation Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement.Work primarily onsite as required.Hold Australian Citizenship.Be employed through a company holding current Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership.
