About the Apprenticeship
Statewide Apprenticeships is currently seeking a motivated individual to undertake a Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology , with a solid focus on electronic security systems.
This apprenticeship is perfect for someone passionate about security technology, eager to learn how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot cutting-edge systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, alongside key telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in:
- CCTV installation and maintenance
- Access control and security systems
- Structured and customer cabling
- Digital reception technology
- Optical and wireless networks
- Telecommunications networking
- Radio communications
- General maintenance and project work
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a keen interest in electronic security systems and technology
- Is committed to completing an apprenticeship
- Holds a valid Australian driver's licence
- Is physically fit and ready for hands-on work
- Is reliable, curious, and eager to grow in a high-demand industry
