The Crane Operator will safely operate cranes and related heavy lifting equipment to move materials, machinery, and structural components on construction and industrial sites. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-start checks and inspections, setting up cranes according to lift plans, coordinating with riggers and site supervisors, and adhering to all safety procedures and site regulations. The role involves interpreting lift plans and load charts, monitoring equipment performance, reporting maintenance needs,



and maintaining clear communication with ground personnel. The Crane Operator will also support continuous improvement in safety practices and contribute to efficient site operations.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in lifting operations, including executing complex lifts and following detailed lift plans.Candidates should possess experience working with heavy equipment and cranes in construction, mining, or industrial environments.Candidates should possess knowledge of lifting equipment and inspection procedures to ensure secure, compliant operation.Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant Australian safety standards and regulations for crane and lifting operations.Valid crane operator license/ticket and high-risk work license (WA and nationally recognized) are required.Demonstrated commitment to safety, situational awareness, and effective communication with site teams.Ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments and follow site schedules and instructions.Previous experience in the shutdown space or similar project environments is beneficial.
