Architect (Mid Level)

A recognised architectural practice is seeking a mid-level Architect to join its Perth studio and work as part of the health and senior living team projects. With a strong presence in Western Australia and a secure pipeline of work, this opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in shaping health and residential developments that contribute to the public realm and broader community outcomes.
This role will suit an Architect with local experience who is confident working across all project stages and ready to step into a position within a collaborative studio setting.

About the Role
Working as part of a project team, you will work on projects across a range of scales, with a focus on health and seniors living. You’ll be involved from early design through to delivery, balancing design intent with technical resolution, programme, and commercial considerations.
The role includes responsibility for coordinating consultants, documentation quality delivery, supporting project performance, and contributing to strong collaboration across the project team.

Key Responsibilities

- Work in the team to deliver architectural projects across health and seniors living sectors.
- Assist with delivery of projects across all stages, from concept through to construction.
- Coordinate consultants and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality documentation and technical resolution.
- Maintain compliance with BCA, Australian Standards, and Council requirements.
- Support project performance,



and delivery programmes.
- Contribute to mentoring and collaboration with project team members.
- Contribute to design development and innovative technical solutions.

Skills & Experience

- Australian architectural registration (WA preferred)
- 5-8 years’ experience within the Australian / WA market
- Background in health and seniors living projects preferred, but not essential
- Strong knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards, and local authority requirements
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Demonstrated experience leading small project teams desirable, but not essential
- Good understanding of project development and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
- A collaborative style and passion for high-quality design outcomes
