We are a well-established Chartered Accounting firm located in Osborne Park and are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team.

This role is ideally suited to an accountant with a solid background in public practice who enjoys working closely with clients and providing practical business and taxation advice.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries and assisting with:

- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.

- Preparation of BAS and IAS returns.

- Tax planning and compliance advice.

- Preparation of management reports and business performance analysis.

- Liaising directly with clients and the ATO.

- Assisting clients with business structuring and general business advisory matters.

- Supporting junior team members where required.

About You





To be successful in this role you will have:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in public practice accounting .

- Professional qualifications as either a CA or CPA .

- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements.

- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a broad range of entities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and APS/XPA would be advantageous.
