Densford is investing in its HSE capability, creating an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious HSE professional to develop alongside an experienced team.

About the Role

Reporting to the HSE Coordinator , you'll support the delivery of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality initiatives across multiple civil construction projects throughout Perth.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with operational teams, helping build a positive safety culture while developing your skills across auditing, investigations, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.

Working alongside an experienced HSE Coordinator, Senior HSE Advisor and HSE Assistant, you'll receive ongoing mentoring and exposure to a broad range of HSEQ activities that will help build your long-term career.

No two days are the same. One day you may be conducting site inspections and coaching supervisors in the field, while the next you're assisting with investigations, improving systems or contributing to business-wide safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As HSE Advisor, you'll:

- Support HSE initiatives across multiple civil construction projects

- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and site visits

- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions

- Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching and engagement

- Build positive relationships with supervisors, project teams and subcontractors





- Support compliance with legislation and company standards

- Contribute to maintaining and improving the Integrated Management System

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

- Assist with safety training and awareness initiatives

About You

You're someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships and improving workplace safety through collaboration rather than enforcement.

You bring practical HSE experience, communicate confidently with operational teams and are motivated to continue learning and developing your career.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Minimum three years' HSE experience within civil construction, construction or a similar industry

- Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety (or similar)

- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation

- Experience conducting site inspections and workplace audits

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach

- Current Australian Driver's Licence
