This established production company specialises in delivering premium audiovisual solutions for conferences, exhibitions, corporate events and live productions. They are seeking an experienced AV Technician to join their operations team.
Position Terms:
- Permanent, full time role
- Salary: $80k-$100k plus super
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the AV Technician will provide technical support across audio, vision and lighting systems while assisting with the delivery of high-quality live events. This role offers excellent variety across warehouse preparation, event installation and on-site technical operation.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Set up and operate audiovisual equipment across live events
- Install projection, LED, audio and presentation systems
- Assist with lighting, audio and vision requirements as needed
- Interpret technical drawings and production documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues during live events
- Prepare equipment within the warehouse prior to events
- Lead event crews when required
- Deliver exceptional customer service on-site
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience working as an AV Technician within the events industry. Broad technical knowledge across audio, vision and lighting systems is essential for this role.
- Strong fault-finding abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card
- Forklift, EWP or MR/HR Licence advantageous
- Ability to work independently and lead teams where required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
- Ability to travel for event delivery when required
