Position Requirements

- Composite/Boat Building experience

- Gel-coat experience desirable

- Experience setting up and operating vacuum infusion equipment desirable

- Experience hand laminating fibreglass parts desirable

- Experience using hand tools

- A focus on quality and delivery

- Must understand how to read engineering drawings

- Understanding of and commitment to OH&S; and QA policies and procedures

- Forklift licence (Advantageous)

- Australian Residency (Essential)

Qualifications Required

- Position experienced based, but any Composite trade qualification welcomed

Primary Responsibilities Include

- Learning to manufacture structural components using vacuum infusion techniques.

- Learning to manufacture composite parts using hand laminating techniques





- Maintaining and cleaning moulds

- Cutting materials such as fibreglass and vacuum bagging materials as required

- Marking out, cutting and shaping of composite parts to engineering drawings

- Assembling composite parts and structures with a variety of materials and techniques

- Spray Painting, sanding and detailing parts

- Working as part of a team to achieve production goals and deadlines

- Ensure Company policies and procedures are followed

- Must be reliable

- Works effectively both within a team or individually

- Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
