This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.
The Position
As the Systems Administrator Level 2, you will be providing technical support for the infrastructure, network and multiple business applications used within the company utilising remote tools and technologies, online documentation, knowledge of the environment and experience in remote problem analysis and resolution
Key Responsibilities
- Working within a team of technical specialists providing support and management services to CEA Technologies Windows, Linux and Network environments.
- Provide daily system administration and maintenance ensuring all systems and applications are optimally maintained and operational.
- Conduct daily administration and maintenance of Windows servers.
- Maintain enterprise storage systems and virtual hosts.
- Maintain data backups.
- Provide professional, effective and timely incident management and resolution for all support calls.
- Implement and maintain systems/network security measures.
- Monitor server logs and systems/network performance.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and advise on potential uses.
- Hardware acquisitions (testing, selection, ordering, set to work).
- Assist to maintain Local and Wide Area Network.

Our Ideal Candidate
- At least 5-7 years’ experience working in a similar role / workplace.
- Proficient in supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, DNS, DHCP and TCP (Linux desirable).
- Thorough knowledge of Nutanix, Virtualisation software and Microsoft Exchange.
- Ability to install, configure and support Applications on Intel Servers (Linux Desirable).
- Demonstrated workload prioritisation skills in a high volume environment.
- Understanding of ITIL Change Management.
- Understanding of LAN and WAN.
- In depth knowledge of remote support, software deployment, patch management and imaging tools.
- Mobility support across iOS.

- An Australian Citizen;
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – NV2
