Tractor Operator / Land Management Crew Member (Casual)

Steve's Slashing is a family-owned firebreak and land management business servicing Mandurah, Rockingham, Baldivis and surrounding areas. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our crew.
Casual position with an immediate start. Guaranteed 2–3 days per week , with full time hours available over the summer firebreak season .
Duties include:
- Operating tractors and slashing equipment
- Towing tractors and trailers
- Whipper snipping, pole saw work and vegetation trimming
- General property maintenance
- Using the ServiceM8 app to navigate to jobs, view job details and upload before and after photos (essential)
Essential:
- Current manual driver's licence and your own vehicle to get to work
- Experience operating tractors or similar machinery
- Confident towing trailers and machinery
- Comfortable using a smartphone and apps for navigation and job management
- Reliable, physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to look after equipment
- Must be able to work in Australia
Desirable (not essential):
- MR Driver's Licence
- Agricultural Chemical User (Poisons) Licence
- Experience spraying glyphosate
- Chainsaw or pole saw experience
Full training will be provided.
