Senior Business Analyst (Perth, WA)Location: Perth, WA (Onsite)Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential extensionStart: Two WeeksAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Perth team, working closely with executive stakeholders to shape, define and deliver complex business initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable facilitating workshops, eliciting and documenting requirements, and developing compelling business cases that clearly articulate value, perks and investment outcomes.
You'll work alongside delivery leads, architects, product owners and client executives to translate business problems into practical, high-value solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead discovery activities, stakeholder interviews and facilitated workshops.Develop robust business cases, including value propositions, cost-benefit analysis and investment recommendations.Identify, quantify and articulate business value, strategic outcomes and measurable benefits.Analyse current-state processes, operating models and customer journeys.Define future-state business processes, capabilities and requirements.Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including:Business casesBusiness requirementsFunctional and non-functional requirementsProcess mapsUser storiesOptions assessmentsBenefits realisation plansCollaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective solutions.Support executive decision-making through structured analysis and evidence-based recommendations.Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to support successful implementation.




About YouYou are an experienced Senior Business Analyst who combines excellent analytical skills with strong commercial acumen. You understand that great business analysis is about more than documenting requirements—it's about helping organisations make better investment decisions and realise measurable value.
You'll be comfortable working directly with senior executives, facilitating complex discussions and bringing structure to ambiguous business challenges.
Essential Skills & Experience7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst on complex business or technology transformation initiatives.Demonstrated experience developing business cases and investment proposals.Strong ability to articulate business value, strategic benefits and return on investment.Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.Strong business process modelling and analysis capability.Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate with both business and technical audiences.Experience working within Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall delivery environments.Australian working rights.
Highly RegardedExperience in management consulting or advisory environments.Experience across government, utilities, financial services or enterprise organisations.Experience supporting operating model, digital transformation or organisational change initiatives.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Visio or Miro.BABOK, CBAP, Agile BA or similar professional certification.
