PLATINE ENGINEERING AND TESTING PTY LTD PLATINE ENGINEERING AND TESTING PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsperson to join our professional team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and managing detailed civil engineering drawings and technical documentation to support a range of infrastructure and construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and construction teams to develop accurate drafting solutions for roads, drainage systems, earthworks, subdivisions, and other civil engineering works.

The role requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering designs, survey data, and project specifications while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client requirements Benefits

- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation
- Develop drawings for roads, drainage networks, earthworks, subdivisions, and civil infrastructure projects
- Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software
- Interpret engineering designs, survey information, specifications, and technical reports
- Assist engineers with design documentation and drafting solutions
- Prepare construction drawings, concept plans,



and as-built documentation
- Review drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation records
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensure drafting work complies with relevant Australian Standards, engineering guidelines, and workplace safety requirements Qualification & experience
- Minimum Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of full-time experience as a Civil Draftsperson or similar drafting role
- Strong understanding of civil engineering drafting principles and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting programs
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical plans, and survey data
- Knowledge of civil construction processes and infrastructure documentation requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
