Alliance Metal Solutions is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Hand/Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our facility in Somersby, NSW 2250 .
In this role, you will play a vital part in our assembly and process operations, supporting the production of high-quality metal solutions. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and the quality of products delivered to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment whilst working with a supportive and professional team.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting with assembly and manufacturing processes on the production floor
2. Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures
3. Preparing materials and components for production and assembly
4. Performing quality checks and inspections on finished products to ensure they meet our standards
5. Assisting with packaging and preparing products for dispatch
6. Supporting more experienced team members and learning new skills as required
7. Undertaking general manual handling and labour tasks as needed
8. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
9. Following health and safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately
What we're looking for
1. Ability to work reliably and punctually on a full time basis
2. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour and lifting throughout your shift
3. Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
4. A genuine commitment to health and safety practices
5.
Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks and techniques
6. Positive attitude and strong work ethic
7. Previous factory or manufacturing experience (desirable but not essential)
8. Experience operating machinery or equipment (desirable)
