About the role
MAINCREW PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Driller Offsider to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a full time position working in the mining exploration and geoscience sector. As a Driller Offsider, you will play a crucial role in supporting drilling operations, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to the success of our exploration programmes. This hands-on position requires someone who is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence in the field.

Key responsibilities

- Assist the Driller in all aspects of drilling operations, including rig setup, equipment maintenance and breakdown

- Ensure all drilling equipment is properly maintained with fuel and fluids

- Support the collection, handling and logging of geological samples and core samples during drilling operations

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues that may arise during drilling activities

- Comply with all site safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Driller Offsider or similar physically demanding role

- Current and valid HR driver's licence.

- Police Clearance ( in the last 3 to 6 months)

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in outdoor and varied weather conditions

- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively

- Flexibility to work variable hours, including potential for extended field campaigns





- Willingness to undertake relevant training and medical requirements

- Experience working in remote or regional locations (preferred)
