Opportunityexists for an experienced Software Assurance, Audit or Verification Specialistto join a leading consultancy in supporting a Federal Government Agency in delivering independentassurance services for the EasyCount – Senate application.
This uniqueengagement will focus on validating the software that performs the distributionof preferences during Australian Senate elections. Working alongside technicaland business stakeholders, you will review legislative requirements, assesssoftware implementation, develop testing methodologies and provide independentcertification of the system's accuracy and compliance.

Your new role

- Reviewing andanalysing legislative requirements governing Senate vote counting

- Assessing businessrules and software implementation against legislation

- Reviewing sourcecode and technical documentation

- Designing teststrategies, test scripts and test datasets

- Executing softwareassurance and validation activities

- Conducting riskassessments and identifying key issues

- Producing draft andfinal assurance reports

- Working closely withtechnical and business stakeholders

- Supporting assuranceactivities associated with future legislative or system changes





What you'll need to succeed

- Demonstratedexperience in software assurance, software audit, IV&V; or verificationactivities

- Strong softwaretesting and quality assurance capability

- Experiencevalidating complex algorithms or business rules

- Ability to reviewand interpret technical documentation and source code

- Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills

- Excellentstakeholder engagement and report-writing abilities

- Baseline SecurityClearance (minimum)

- Experience withinGovernment, Electoral, Regulatory, Defence or highly governed environments willbe highly regarded
