Spicers is a national Company with offices and warehouses in every state and territory in Australia. We sell a wide range of products related to the Print, Labels, Food & Industrial Packaging and Sign & Display markets including paper, laminates and other substrates that can be printed on.

About this Position

Based at our Winnellie NT site, the Storeperson/Delivery driver will be responsible for efficiently, accurately and safely picking and packing customer orders and delivering these orders, using the Company van, in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to work a 37.5 hour week, from 8:30am- 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a medical assessment, along with drug and alcohol testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurate and timely delivery of customer orders using the Company van (2 tonne);

- Accurately pick and pack orders;

- Forklift driving;

- Truck and container unloading;

- Stock labelling and put-away;

- Use of IT systems to complete tasks;





- Assist customers attending the site;

- General Housekeeping;

- Assisting with stocktakes;

- Adherence to Company policies and processes, particularly regarding health and safety;

- Frequent manual lifting of products;

- Ad-hoc duties as required

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment;

- Driving or courier experience is preferred, but not essential;

- Experience using SAP or another warehouse management system is preferred;

- Valid manual driver's licence and ability to drive 2 tonne truck;

- Valid forklift licence;

- Ability to work well in a team and independently;

- Attention to detail;

- Punctuality;

- Sign and display and/or paper product knowledge would be highly advantageous.
