Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing to a high standard on various projects throughout Perth. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces
- Repair and maintain interior and exterior surfaces
- Work with a variety of materials and tools to achieve desired finishes
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator
- Experience in both residential and commercial painting and decorating projects is required
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- White Card (Construction Induction Training)
- Minimum 3-5 years of painting and decorating experience required
- Any valid Australian work visa is required for this position
