We’re looking for a career focussed Sous Chef to join our fast growing kitchen team.

The Heritage is a family-owned, recently renovated Northern Illawarra icon, and we’ve made big improvements to our food offering over the past 12 months. Now we’re ready to take it further.

Our focus: elevated pub food done properly. Hearty, flavour-driven dishes, plus a rotating line-up of fresh, exciting specials.

We’re open 7 days (lunch & dinner), catering to everyone from tradies and locals to families and functions - with robust demand to grow our events offering.

The Role

- Work hand in hand with our experienced and well credentialed Head Chef in an established kitchen team





- Maintain and drive service standards and manage the kitchen in the Chefs absence

- Liaise with suppliers on produce quality

- Oversee cleanliness standards during and after trade

- Help grow kitchen trade and function offering

You

- Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up

- Confident in your communication and technical skills

- Experienced in kitchen operations

- Passionate about quality pub food (done better)

- Organised, reliable, and a hands-on leader

- Brings ideas and energy to the role
