Looking for your next regional ED adventure? Katherine Hospital is seeking two locum doctors to join the Emergency Department from 31 July to 2 November 2026. With a structured roster and the option to pick up additional shifts, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience remote medicine while working in a supportive team workplace.

Requirements

- PGY3+
- Previous rural Emergency Department experience
- Experience working solo ED night shifts
- Current Adult Life Support (ALS)
- Current Paediatric Life Support (PLS/APLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification

Katherine Hospital is the primary referral hospital for the Big Rivers region of the Northern Territory,



providing emergency and inpatient services to a large rural and remote population. The Emergency Department offers a diverse and rewarding caseload, giving doctors valuable experience in rural and remote medicine while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
