THE MISSION

The R&D; Technologist Fillings and Decors is responsible for leading R&D; projects related to the product categories of Fruit Fillings, Cream Fillings & Decors. This includes all projects related to innovation, renovation, tailor made projects, process-production improvements, cost reduction.

This role, is a key driver in the business development in the country by supporting the local sales force, including direct support to customers for the implementation of the developed products.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS

Lead new product development

Provide R&D; support to production .

Assure training and technical support to the business development team (sales, marketing) and customers

Active networking and technological leadership

Regulatory compliance, IP protection and data management

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Internal Relationships:

Sales, Marketing, Operation (Production/Quality/Engineering), Process Experts and R&D; Managers from Regional and Group R&D; teams.

External Relationships :

Customers,



Suppliers, Technology Platforms, Universities & Schools.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Experience in related industry will be an advantage

3-7 years of R&D;/technical experience

Knowledge on starch, hydrocolloids, and baked goods

Skilled fluency in English is required for both written and verbal communication.

Food science, engineer or related background

Multi-Task: can work in parallel on different projects

Salary range: AUD (depending on experience) + Superannuation + Bonus
