Artisan Legal is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team in Canberra on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide vital administrative and organisational support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth running of our operations. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial part in enabling our lawyers to deliver exceptional service to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including drafting correspondence, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Maintaining and organising electronic and physical filing systems to ensure efficient document management
- Filing and managing safe custody of documents
- Attending the court registry to file or to deliver documents to other third parties
- Helping to gather relevant information and materials
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, both in person and over the phone
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
