Windy Hills Farm (NSW) Pty Ltd is looking for an accomplished Operations Support Person. This person will play a vital role in ensuring that the correct orders and products reach customers in perfect condition. This position focuses heavily on accuracy, attention to detail, and quality control within a quick-paced horticulture production and packing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Order Picking & Packing : Provide support to the Operations Managers and Pack Room staff. Locate, select, and safely pack plants according to specific orders and pick lists.

- Accuracy Verification : Double-check plant varieties, sizes, quantities, and labels against order sheets to ensure zero dispatch errors.

- Quality Inspection : Examine stock prior to packing to ensure it meets health, size, and aesthetic standards.

- Stock Labeling : Apply accurate barcodes, tags, and labels to outgoing stock and inventory.

- Inventory Control : Update physical and digital stock records immediately when items are moved, packed, or identified as damaged.

- Dispatch Preparation : Securely load plants into trays, crates,



and pallets to prevent damage during transit.

- General Farm Support : As is required support seeding, potting and harvesting teams across the farm

- Recordkeeping: The ability to maintain simple harvesting and packing records.

Requirements & Skills

- Attention to Detail : Proven ability to spot minor differences in plant varieties, SKU codes, and order quantities, labels etc

- Physically Fit : Capability to stand for long periods, lift and move trays and crates, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Organisational Skills : Ability to follow strict processes and maintain a structured workspace.

- Communication : Strong reading and comprehension skills to accurately interpret orders and dispatch paperwork and maintain accurate records.

- Fork Lift License: Current Fork Lift High Risk Work Licence or willingness to attain same.

- Weekend work: Availability for weekend work on a rotating roster - Saturday mornings.
