We are seeking a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to join our team on a permanent part time basis. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems and processes, takes pride in accuracy and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive team environment.
About the Role
This is a varied administration role supporting the day-to-day operation of our real estate business.
You will be the first point of contact for clients, tenants, trades and suppliers, while also managing a broad range of administrative responsibilities. The role has a strong focus on financial administration, accounts and compliance, ensuring our records are accurate, processes are followed and the business continues to operate smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial administration, including invoice entry, processing and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring property accounts and assisting with follow-up of outstanding invoices
- Assisting with general financial administration and record keeping
- Assisting in maintaining agency compliance requirements and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
- Keeping informed of changes to real estate legislation and assisting with implementing compliance requirements
- Reception duties,
including answering phones, welcoming clients and responding to general enquiries
- Providing administrative support to the sales and property management teams
- General administrative duties consistent with the role
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and takes pride in producing accurate work.
The successful applicant will have:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidence with financial administration and handling financial records
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A methodical approach and the ability to follow processes
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a small team
- Confidence using computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Previous administration experience (accounts or real estate experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential)
