Pumps Australia Pty Ltd is a well-established, family-operated Australian business, proudly manufacturing and wholesaling pumps, pressure cleaners and pumping systems since 1997.

We supply customers across a wide range of industries including mining, agriculture, construction, industrial and water management, with products distributed Australia-wide and internationally.

We’re expanding! In 2027, we’ll move to a new, purpose-built facility in Welshpool.

The Role

We are looking for a capable and organised Product Documentation & Marketing Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, approximately 3 days per week .

This is an office-based position at our Welshpool premises , working closely with our sales and technical teams.

The main focus of the role will be to bring together, update and improve our extensive library of product information, data sheets, brochures and marketing material.

Over many years, our product range has grown considerably. We are looking for someone who can take our existing product information, technical data, supplier material, photographs and previous catalogues and turn it into clear, professional and consistent product documentation .

An important part of the role will be helping us develop an up-to-date reference of our complete product range that can be easily used by our sales team, new employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and update product data sheets and specification sheets

- Update and develop product brochures, catalogues, flyers and other sales material

- Use Adobe InDesign to create and maintain professional product documentation and layouts





- Use Adobe Photoshop to edit, resize and prepare product photographs and images

- Compile product specifications, photographs, descriptions and technical information

- Review existing product documentation and bring it into a consistent format

- Use our previous product catalogue as a reference to help document and update our current product range

- Work with our sales and technical staff to obtain and verify product information

- Organise product files, images, technical data and marketing material

- Help develop a comprehensive and easy-to-use reference library of the products we sell

- Update existing computer-based documents and templates

- Assist with other documentation, artwork and digital projects as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, computer confident and has a good eye for design, layout and presentation .

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience using Adobe InDesign to create brochures, catalogues, data sheets or similar documents

- Experience using Adobe Photoshop to edit, resize and prepare product images and artwork

- Experience preparing product data sheets, brochures, catalogues or similar marketing material

- Adobe Illustrator experience would be an advantage

- Good skills in Microsoft Office,



particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Ability to take information from different sources and turn it into clear, professional and visually appealing documents

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good written English and proofreading skills

- Confidence working with product specifications and technical information

- Ability to work independently and manage projects through to completion

- An organised and methodical approach to electronic files, images and product information

Experience with pumps, pressure cleaners, industrial equipment, engineering products or technical product documentation would be an advantage, but is not essential.

This role would suit someone who enjoys organising information, working with product images and turning technical information into professional, easy-to-use sales and reference material .
