We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a retail store in Darwin. This role involves maintaining a visible security presence, preventing theft, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting store staff.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain a professional security presence throughout the store.
- Deter and respond to theft, shoplifting, and other security incidents.
- Monitor customer and staff activity while identifying suspicious behaviour.
- Conduct regular patrols of the sales floor and surrounding areas.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports.
- Liaise with store management and, where required, police or emergency services.




- Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer enquiries.

Requirements:

- Current NT Security Officer Licence.
- Current First Aid Certificate (preferred).
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Skilled presentation and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $35.53 – $78.16 per hour
