About the role
- Keep clinics running smoothly: Provide high‑quality administrative support across the Medicine Hub and Outpatient Clinics, helping clinicians and teams deliver a seamless patient experience.
- Be the connection between patients and clinicians: Coordinate appointments, respond to enquiries and manage communication to ensure patients receive accurate and timely information.
- Keep things organised and on track: Manage a range of administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, scanning, data entry and responding to clinician requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solve problems and stay proactive: Identify issues, manage competing priorities and **escalate** matters appropriately to the Practice Manager to keep clinic operations running efficiently.
- Be part of a collaborative team: Work closely with medical,
clinical and administrative teams across the Medicine Hub, contributing to a positive, supportive and patient‑focused environment.
About you
- Medical administration experience: You have experience in medical administration, healthcare administration or a similar environment, with an understanding of clinic operations and patient‑focused service.
- Confident and capable: You’re comfortable supporting clinicians, managing competing priorities and handling a busy workload while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- A great communicator: You communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, clinicians and colleagues and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patient‑focused and proactive: You take pride in providing a positive patient experience, managing expectations and looking for ways to make processes easier and more efficient.
- Organised and detail‑focused: You have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a dynamic team.
