Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.
The Inspirations Grafton store is looking for an enthusiastic full time Paint Sales Assistant, to work at either the Grafton or Yamba store. The successful applicant would have a background in retail sales, paint knowledge or relevant personal experience in home improvement projects and be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.
The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, Award wages and a uniform. Business hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12 noon Saturdays. You will be required to work some weekends on rotation.
Responsibilities include:
- Following our "Inspirations Way" procedures
- Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers
- Tinting and mixing paint, colour advice and matching
- Paint and accessory deliveries as required
- Store presentation, stock management and housekeeping
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Experience / Attributes:
- A background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment would be an advantage
- Practical experience in home improvement projects desirable
- Proven customer service and sales experience with a robust knowledge of sales processes
- Able to problem solve using advanced communication skills
- A willingness to learn and continually improve
- Able to contribute and work in a small team environment
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Basic computer skills
This role involves heavy lifting up to 23kgs
